Organizations are complex systems where one change, one energy shift impacts, intentionally or unintentionally, all other areas within the organization. Organizations evolve with or without a design. Organizational consulting is about evolving your company by design – a design geared to your strategic initiatives and your definition of success. Our intention is to work with organizations to understand what is happening within their company by focusing on the following three areas:

 

Process – includes both formal and informal processes within the organization and are often tied to quality and consistency.

 

Structure – focuses on how the organizational is set up in terms of teams, divisions and hierarchy.

 

Culture – how things really work within the organization, a shared set of beliefs and accepted behaviors.

 

Our consulting approach is multifaceted and may include individual interviews, team interviews, focus groups and organizational wide surveys. We look for themes, patterns and trends. We study relationships, decisions, metrics and incentives. Every thing we do is in partnership with the organization and their goals, including the development of in-house assessment tools and transitional designs.
